Bell+ wins Design Award

Bell+ was nominated for a German Design Award 2015. Now we can finally reveal the winner.

Bell+ was named winner of the German Design Award 2015 Special Mention in the category Excellent Product Design. The Special Mention award is given to a product that has been particularly noteworthy. Out of more than 2,000 nominated products Bell+ stood out from the crowd. We never doubted that Bell+ deserves a Special Mention award, but to receive such a great recognition from the German Design Council shows that Bell+ is a unique product that has international appeal.

German Design Council on the Special Mention award: 
Due to the high quality among the number of participants, the German Design Council will award the distinction Special Mention. This award honours achievements whose design exhibited particularly noteworthy aspects or solutions – a distinction that acknowledges the commitment of both companies and designers.

The designer behind Bell+, Thomas Holst Madsen, has created a masterpiece with the innovative and clean design that keeps getting praise. We are happy with the high acclaim we receive for Bell+ and such a nice design award is another feather in our cap. We are very proud to be awarded the Special Mention award. It means that Thomas Holst Madsen’s design is so good that the German Design Council believes it deserves special attention. That it cannot be overlooked. Now that is an acknowledgement that means something.
